The Festival is arranged by the Danish Amateur Theatre Association (DATS) in cooperation with The Municipality of Sønderborg.
The Festival will be held under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Marie.
The NEATA Festival is a 5-day theatre festival where about 200 theatre people from the Nordic countries, the Baltic countries and from the rest of Europe meet for 5 intensive days of theatre performances, workshops and qualified theatre discussions.
The NEATA Festival is held in a new NEATA country every second year. The VI. Official NEATA Festival took place in Akureyri, Iceland in August 2010, where the President of Iceland Mr. Olafur Grimsson was opening the festival wishing the participants from all the different countries welcome.
In Sønderborg there will be theatre productions from each of the Nordic and Baltic countries and two productions from the rest of Europe.
All in all, 12 theatre groups will be playing at the festival.
All the performances will be discussed in the festival colloquia and the theatre groups will get the opportunity to share their work methods and work processes with the other participating groups. The festival colloquia wil be led by professional theatre people.
Three workshops will be held at the festival led by highly qualified international professional theatre teachers.
In connection with the Festival there will be two parallel events:
Before and alongside the festival a theatre workshop for young people from the Nordic and Baltic countries – the NEATA Youth – is organised. This workshop is planned to end up in a performance that will be shown at the Festival as a part of the Festival programme.

Dear Bijay
If you read the information and application forms then you will see that this is a festival for countries in NEATA – details elsewhere on this website about this Region. As you are a group from Nepal, then this is not a festival in which you can participate.
I am sorry that I cannot be more helpful.
