International Amateur Theatre Festival of Performances for Children and Youth „Spēlesprieks“ will be held in Limbaži, Latvia from September 16—18, 2011

Goals of the Festival

—  To introduce the audience and amateur theatre experts from other countries with the best and most interesting amateur theatre performances for children and youth.

—  Establish contacts with amateur theatres from other countries and promote the diversity of Latvian amateur theatres and their creative work.

—  Promote and provide further development of amateur theatre and enhance their artistic quality.

—  Stimulate community’s interest in amateur theatre performances as well as in drama for children and youth.
