We have been alerted by Noel McDonald to a new playwright course taking place in S Africa. The course is to teach new writers how to structure a 10-minute play and then to take it back to their municipality to complete and workshop the play. The writers will then learn how to extend the script to 30 – 45 minutes and to submit a finished play to Sancta by 30 November 2016.

These plays will be examined and those that have merit to ‘reach the stage’ will be mentored and finally staged.

Full details are on the Artslink website HERE.
