She was President of AITA/AITA from 1979 – 1983. Her son, Ing Lubor Matousek wrote to AITA/IATA on behalf of the family.

We all knew that he was ill, heavily ill! In the latest festival (26 Feb 2016) in Balassagyarmat we could see him last time addressing our community gathered there to celebrate our passed-away “great masters”.
The beloved Honorary President of FNCTA, Jean Saby, passed away at age of 86.
Under his presidency, FNCTA developed itself after the merging of the FNSTA and FeCTAF and became a reference organization of amateur theatre in French-speaking area; his successors Jacques Lemaire and Patrick Schoenstein continued his work.
It was with much sadness that aita/iata learnt of the death in March 2014 of Denise Walsh from New Zealand. She has had a long and distinguished carer in theatre, especially working with young people and she was rewarded for her lifetime’s devotion when in 2013 she was made a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit in the New Year’s Honours list for her services to youth theatre.
We regret to inform you of the death of Gilles Boyer, president of the Quebec Federation of Amateur Theatre and resident of Mont-Laurier.
Mr. Boyer was the president of the FQTA since June 2006 and was the founder of the theater and Montserrat Double Challenge Mont-Laurier, in addition to being the instigator and chief executive of the first five editions of the International Theatre Festival Mont-Laurier (2003-2011).
