AITA/IATA asbl welcomes its 4th Associate from India – the Academy of Performing Arts from Thoubal, Manipur.
This non-profit organisation covers a wide spectrum of arts – theatre, folk music and dance, and traditional (Thang-Ta) martial arts and they offer workshops, training and theory on these skills.

The Ryan Foundation, India approached AITA/IATA and asked to join as an Associate and we welcome them.
The Ryan International Group are well established in India in the field of education and provide ‘academic excellence ‘ to their students in more than 135 schools across the country and abroad.
The General Secretary of the India Theatre Olympiad, Prof Kartick Chandra Rath has announced the 25th (Silver Jubilee) India Theatre Olympiad: International Theatre Festival – 2017 in the millennium city of Cuttack, Odisha ( Orissa ) state – situated on the eastern coast of India held 1 – 12 September 2017.
The secretary General of NIPA India, Mr B. M. D. Agrawal writes to say that World Theatre Day was celebrated at Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
A number of celebrated and distinguished guests were present, including Chief Guest, Mrs. Rajlakshmi Golcha M.P. Nepal, who all spoke on various aspects of Theatre and Music.

He notes that they observed at the International Theatre Festival at Varanasi Uttar Pradesh on 14 and 15 November 2015:
Our friends at the AITA/IATA National Centre in India – NIPA - write about their annual International Children’s Theatre Festival to be held 14 – 17 November 2016 in Delhi.
The Festival is for up to six international groups of no more than twelve people to join nine groups from India.
We have been advised of this festival in Mumbai, India. It is an annual event hosted by Ryan Foundation under the aegis of Ryan International Group of schools.
The theme of the Festival is Voices for Tolerance and the motto is: Let’s get the young hearts together to tie the knot of camaraderie, unity and tranquillity through dance, drama and workshops. www.ryanicfpa.com
