The AITA/IATA National Centre of Lithuania announce the 11th International Children and Youth Theater Festival-laboratory “Little Melpomene“ which will take place in the Plunge cultural center, Lithuania.
A final reminder about the Progress Sopron Festival taking place later this month in Sopron, Hungary. Sopron is in NW Hungary close to the Austrian border. Progress Sopron is Hungary’s most important International Amateur Theatre Festival. Six international groups have been invited to join six Hungarian groups.
Darina Startseva, from BDAT, Germany writes to announce the 10th International Theater Festival held in Donzdorf, in the Federal State of Baden-Württemberg, midway between Stuttgart and Ulm.
The festival will take place between Wednesday 9th and Sunday 13th May 2018.
A warm welcome to new Associates Piano Theatre from Russia, who took part in the World Festival of Children’s Theatre in Stratford Ontario in June 2016. The front page of their website has a great picture of the group at the opening ceremony.
AITA/IATA Associates Diyar Theatre / Diyar Academy for Children and Youth announce BIPAF (Bethlehem International Performing Arts Festival) to be held in October 2018 in Bethlehem, Palestine.
All performers must be older than 16 years and productions should be between 40 and 60 minutes.
Associate Poupoulo from Greece have been doing great work with their young people and are looking forward to taking part in the EDERED Encounter, 19 – 30 July in Aalborg, Denmark.
The studio is for students from 5 to 18 years (in relevant age groups). They have lessons on: master craftsman, speech, art history, vocals, dance.
They perform annually on professional theater stages (in some cases with well-known actors) and students attend theater performances, excursions in exhibitions and museums, and meet well-known people.
We look forward to meeting them at future AITA/AITA International Theatre Festivals.
