Spots op West 201528 February 2015 is the deadline by when the Spots op West 2015 Secretariat must receive Delegate and Observer Forms so they can reserve rooms in the Novotel or Flanders Lodge in Ypres/Ieper. After 28 February 2015, rooms reserved will be released and the Festival organisers cannot guarantee accommodation for Delegates or Observers. Continue reading »

Spots Op 2015The Spots op West 2015 Form for Observers who wish to attend the Spots op West 2015 Festival and the aita/iata Forum and General Assembly is now online. Delegates selected by their aita/iata National Centres to attend have received a separate Delegate Form.

The deadline for the call for candidates for the AITA/IATA asbl posts of Vice President and English Speaking Secretary was 31 October 2014. The notice was sent out on 26 September 2014.

At the meeting of the aita/iata Council in Peligros, Spain on 14 and 15 November, it was agreed that one valid nomination had been received for each post. These were:

Vice President: Tim Jebsen (USA)

English Speaking Secretary: Aled Rhys-Jones (GB)

Honorary President Jacques Lemaire has been invited to attend the next Congress of the International University Theatre Association and will attend as the  aita/iata ambassador. 

The organisation was founded in 1994 to develop and promote theatre training, creation, and theoretical and practical research, at the level of university or higher studies. Continue reading »

In March we announced that the selection process for the aita/iata International Amateur Theatre Festival had started. This is a reminder about the actions needed by all aita/iata National Centres who want their country represented in the Festival.
