AITA/IATA has learned the sad news of the death of Mrs Ing. Helena Matouskova aged 88 on 14 June 2017. She was President of AITA/AITA from 1979 – 1983. Her son, Ing Lubor Matousek wrote to AITA/IATA on behalf of the family.

AITA/IATA asbl welcomes its 4th Associate from India – the Academy of Performing Arts from Thoubal, Manipur. This non-profit organisation covers a wide spectrum of arts – theatre, folk music and dance, and traditional (Thang-Ta) martial arts and they offer workshops, training and theory on these skills.

Ron Dodson, co-organiser of the 2016 AITA/IATA World Festival of Children’s Theatre, has provided copies of a Final Report from the organizers of the 14th World Festival of Children’s Theatre. Ron and the WFCT team undertook this work so that anyone who wishes to hold a children’s festival has information to which they can refer.
