She was President of AITA/AITA from 1979 – 1983. Her son, Ing Lubor Matousek wrote to AITA/IATA on behalf of the family.
The German National Centre BDAT is proud to celebrate its 125th Anniversary.
The event is celebrated on its website with words of congratulation and support from many people from around the world including AITA/IATA President Rob Van Genechten.

AITA/IATA asbl Affiliate from Poland, Towarzystwo Teatralne im. Jedrzeja Cierniaka, have asked that their statement of their position is published.
They will seek ratification as a National Centre at the August 2017 General Assembly, before the vote on renewal takes place.
They are facilitating the creation of an excellent theatre network across Poland and we wish them well in their endeavours. There is more information about their work on the CEC Website HERE

Beyond the Mondial du Théâtre in Monaco in August 2017, we must consider the venue for the 2019 AITA/IATA asbl International Festival and General Assembly.
Several countries have expressed an interest but no firm offers have yet been received. Would your country’s National Centre or Association like to host the event?
AITA/AITA asbl was delighted in June – HERE - to announce that the next World Festival of Children’s Theatre (WFCT) will be held in Lingen Germany 22 – 29 June 2018.
But, what about the next WFCT to be held in 2020? Would you like to host it? If you are an AITA/IATA asbl National Centre or Associate and you would like to host it, then it’s time to start planning.

We all knew that he was ill, heavily ill! In the latest festival (26 Feb 2016) in Balassagyarmat we could see him last time addressing our community gathered there to celebrate our passed-away “great masters”.

AITA/IATA asbl Associate, Chander Hatt Children’s Theatre from Faridpur, Bangladesh celebrated World Theatre Day on 27 March 2017.
They organised a school Theatre Festival in which seven schools took part as well as a colourful rally, all locally sponsored.
The secretary General of NIPA India, Mr B. M. D. Agrawal writes to say that World Theatre Day was celebrated at Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
A number of celebrated and distinguished guests were present, including Chief Guest, Mrs. Rajlakshmi Golcha M.P. Nepal, who all spoke on various aspects of Theatre and Music.
